You knew it couldn’t last, right?

After that spell of glorious weather, Wednesday’s forecast is for periods of rain totalling 5 to 10 mm with fog patches that will clear up before noon, northwest winds at 20 km/h and a high of 12 C.

Overnight, expect 10 to 15 mm more wet stuff and a low of 8 C.

Periods of rain expected to total another 5 to 10 mm are forecast to end Thursday afternoon. Then the outlook is for a mix of sun and cloud, northwest winds at 20 km/h gusting to 40, a high of 12 C and a low of 0 C.

Friday is forecast to be dry – at least during the day – with a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 16 C. There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers overnight and a low of 4 C.

For Saturday, expect clouds, a 60 per cent chance of showers, a high of 10 C and a low of 3 C.

Sunday’s outlook is a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 12 C and a low of 1 C.

Then it’s gorgeous again, just in time for many of us to head back to work with pure sunshine and highs of 18 C Monday and 22 C Tuesday.
