Canadian country music star Kira Isabella will perform a live concert — for free — in Nepean on May 17.
The event will start at 7 p.m. at Montana’s Restaurant at 1711 Merivale Rd.
The concert is being thrown to promote a contest by brewing company Coors, which wants to name a small Canadian town “Canada’s top One Horse Town.”
The winner gets a free country music concert, which will include Isabella, country music star Dallas Smith and Juno award-nominee Tim Hicks.
The company encourages interested Canadians over 19, from small municipalities, to nominate their town by submitting a picture “showing their small town spirit” on social media.
This is the fourth year Coors is hosting the contest.
