Break out the sunblock, we’ve got a few more gorgeous, summer-like days before the rain returns, ushering in a more seasonal spell.

Tuesday’s forecast is for pure sunshine, a high of 22 C and a UV index of 7 or high. Even the low is in the double-digits at 11 C.

Wednesday is even more summery with sunny skies, a high of 25 C and an actual humidex of 26. The low is 15 C.

Thursday should be wet but stays warm with showers and a high of 22 C.

Then, the temperature plunges to 3 C overnight, when there’s a 60 per cent chance of more showers.

For Friday, the kickoff day of the Canadian Tulip Festival, the forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 13 C and a low of 3 C, cooler than typical temperatures of highs of 18 C and lows of 7 C for mid-May.

Saturday’s outlook is for a mix of sun and cloud, a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 15 C. There’s a 40 per cent chance of overnight showers and a low of 9 C.

Mixed skies and a 40 per cent chance of showers are on tap for Sunday with a high of 20 C and low of 8 C.

Forecast dry skies are – of course – back for Monday with mixed skies and a high of 22 C.
