MEET MERRILLEE
Merrilee Fullerton is the Ontario PC candidate for Kanata-Carleton.
Merrilee is a medical professional and health advocate who has spent her career helping and standing up for the some of the province’s most vulnerable. For 26 years, she served Kanata and the surrounding area as a family physician.
She has been active in medical associations and local health care organizations, with advisory roles in the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Medical Association, the local LHIN, and with membership on the City of Ottawa Board of Health. As a result, she knows firsthand the harmful impact the Liberal government’s mismanagement of the health system has had on patient care.
A lifelong Kanata resident, Merrilee grew up on Kingsford Court, graduated from Earl of March High School, and went on to graduate from the University of Ottawa Medical School. She married her husband Steve, from Westwood, and together they raised their family in Kanata.
Merrilee has spent her life being a strong voice for health care and the people of her community, and she will continue to work for increasing the quality of life for Kanata-Carleton residents
