After a glorious Victoria Day, back-to-work Tuesday is grey and likely wet but the sun will return soon.

Tuesday is expected to be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of afternoon showers and 40 per cent chance of early-evening showers, a high of 19 C and a low of 9 C.

For Wednesday, Environment Canada is predicting sunny skies becoming mixed by afternoon, northwest winds at 20 km/h in the late morning, a high of 24 C and low of 7 C.

Thursday looks like sunny with a high of 24 C and low of 9 C.

Friday’s forecast is for a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 27 C and a low of 13 C.

Saturday should be a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 26 C. The risk of rain rises to 60 per cent with a possible thunderstorm Saturday night but the mercury stays in the double digits with a low of 16 C.

For Sunday, expect a mix of sun and cloud, a 60 per cent chance of showers or thunderstorms, a high of 24 C and a low of 15 C.

A 30 per cent chance of showers is on tap for Monday with a high of 22 C.
