The Canadian Union of Public Employees announced Friday morning that it has reached tentative agreements with the City of Cornwall for each of the four striking groups of city workers.
“Bargaining committees representing library workers, paramedics, outside and inside workers will be recommending the settlements to their memberships for ratification,” said Andrea Addario, union spokesperson in a statement.
What is in these agreements will not be shared publicly until after union members have a chance to ratify them.
A vote is being planned sometime in the next few days.
