Traffic impacts in Ottawa for the coming days – beginning Friday, July 27

Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:

  • Highway 416 – Beginning Friday, July 27 at 9 pm, the on-ramp from eastbound Fallowfield Road to northbound Highway 416 will be closed for roadwork. The ramp will be closed until Monday, July 30 at 6 am. Signed detours will be in place during the closure.
  • Highway 417 – A section of Highway 417 will be closed in both directions, starting Saturday, July 28 at 6 pm, with lane closures starting at 5 pm. The highway will reopen on Sunday, July 29 at 11 am. This closure is required for the demolition of the Harmer Avenue Pedestrian Bridge.   • Old Tenth Line Road – On Monday, July 30, from 7 am until 3:30 pm, the northbound lane of Old Tenth Line Road will be closed for paving between St. Joseph Boulevard and Tenth Line Road. Signed detours for motorists and cyclists will be in place during construction.
