Ottawa – Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
- The northbound on-ramp from Hunt Club Road to the Airport Parkway and the southbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Hunt Club Road.
- The southbound on-ramp from Walkley Road to the Airport Parkway and the northbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Walkley Road.
- The on-ramp from Brookfield Road to Bronson Avenue northbound, the on-ramp from Brookfield Road to Airport Parkway southbound and the northbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Brookfield Road.
- On Tuesday, September 11 from midnight to 6 pm and on Wednesday, September 12 from 10 am to 2 pm and from 9 pm to midnight, intermittent lane and shoulder closures will be in effect to install traffic control signs and for construction.
- On Thursday, September 13 between 10 pm and 6 am, the westbound on-ramp from Ottawa Regional Road 174 to westbound Highway 417 will be closed for construction.
- From Thursday September 13 to Friday, November 2, lanes will be closed on Highway 417 on Sundays from 9 pm to midnight, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 pm to 6 am, on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 pm to 6 am and on Saturdays from midnight to 10 am.
Events
- The Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will be closed in the westbound direction between Vimy Place and Carling Avenue from 7 am to 4 pm.
- Carling Avenue will have reduced lanes from 7 am to 4 pm.
- The following streets may also be closed:
- Goldenrod Driveway between the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway and Parkdale Avenue.
- Colombine Driveway between Tunney’s Pasture Driveway and Parkdale Avenue.
- Parkdale Avenue between Colombine Driveway and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway.

- Queen Street: Until Tuesday, September 18, Queen Street will be closed for construction between O’Connor Street and Metcalfe Street.
- Alta Vista Drive: From Monday, September 10 until mid-October, Alta Vista Drive will have intermittent lane closures between Smyth Road and Industrial Avenue. Construction will take place weekdays from 9 am to 3:30 pm and from 7 pm to 7 am, and on weekends from 6 pm to 10 am.
- Castor Road: From Monday, September 10 to Friday, September 14, Castor Road will be closed for construction between Yorks Corners Road and 9th Line Road.
- Terry Fox Drive: Until Friday, September 28, there will be intermittent lanes closures between 7 pm and 6 am on Terry Fox Drive from 140 metres south of Didsbury Road to 320 metres north of Campeau Drive to allow for construction.
- Russell Road: Until Monday, September 17, Russell Road will be closed for construction between Anderson Road and Farmers Way.
- Anderson Road: Until Friday, September 21, Anderson Road will be closed for construction between Mitch Owens Road and Thunder Road.
- Airport Parkway: On Tuesday, September 11 and Wednesday, September 12, between 8 pm and 6 am, the following ramps will be closed for construction, in the following sequence with only one closure at a time:
- The northbound on-ramp from Hunt Club Road to the Airport Parkway and the southbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Hunt Club Road.
- The southbound on-ramp from Walkley Road to the Airport Parkway and the northbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Walkley Road.
- The on-ramp from Brookfield Road to Bronson Avenue northbound, the on-ramp from Brookfield Road to Airport Parkway southbound and the northbound off-ramp from the Airport Parkway to Brookfield Road.
- Highway 417 and Ottawa Regional Road 174:

- The Ride for the Ottawa Hospital: On Sunday, September 9, the Ride for the Ottawa Hospital will be from 7:30 am to 4 pm. The following traffic impacts will be in place:
