- Petrie Island: From Monday, October 1 to Friday, December 28, Petrie Island Bridge will be closed for construction. Access to Petrie Island will be prohibited during construction.
- Anderson Road: Until end of day, Friday, September 28, Anderson road will be closed for construction between Mitch Owens Road and Thunder Road.
- Dunning Road: From Monday, October 1 to Monday, October 15, Dunning Road will be closed for construction between French Hill Road and Innes Road.
- Rideau Street: From Saturday, September 29 at 7 am to Sunday, September 30 at 8 pm, Rideau Street will be closed between Dalhousie Street and Sussex Drive. This closure, due to construction, will impact transit and taxis operators only.
- Kirkwood Avenue: From Saturday, September 29 at 7 am to Sunday, September 30 at 6 pm, Kirkwood Avenue will be closed between Byron Avenue and Clare Street. Signed detours will be in place. Access to properties located within the closed portion of Kirkwood will be maintained north and south of Iona Street. A complete closure will be in place at the Iona Street and Kirkwood Avenue intersection. OC Transpo routes 16 and 81 will be rerouted. Visit octranspo.com for full details.
Events
- CIBC Run for the Cure: On Sunday, September 30, Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will be closed between Booth Street and Island Park Drive, from 6 am to 1 pm.
- Peace Officers Memorial Procession: On Sunday, September 30, Wellington Street westbound will be closed between Elgin Street and O’Connor Street, from 11 am to 12:30 pm. In addition, the following closures will be in effect from 9:30 am to 11 am:
- Wellington Street. between Lyon Street and Elgin Street
- Kent Street. between Wellington Street and Queen Street
- Bank Street. between Wellington Street and Queen Street
- Metcalfe Street. between Wellington Street and Queen Street
- Panda Game: On Saturday, September 29, increased traffic and pedestrian activity can be expected at Lansdowne due to the Panda Game.
