The 2018 Ottawa Book Awards and Prix du livre d’Ottawa will be presented in a special ceremony at City Hall.
This free event is open to the public.
Deputy Mayor Bob Monette will present the awards in the categories of English fiction, English non-fiction and French fiction. The Archibald Lampman Award for Poetry and the Prix émergence AAOF de littérature jeunesse will also be presented.
Date: Wednesday, October 17
Time: 7 pm, with reception to follow
Location: Ottawa City Hall, Jean Pigott Place, 110 Laurier Avenue West
Nominees will be available for media interviews both prior to the awards ceremony and after. More information about the Ottawa Book Awards, including jury statements and author biographies, is available online at ottawa.ca.
