The City of Ottawa’s City Clerk and Solicitor has declared the 2018 Municipal Elections results official.
The 2018-2022 Term of Council will begin on December 1, 2018.
In advance of December 1, 2018, the Office of the City Clerk and Solicitor will hold orientation sessions for members-elect. on such topics as the City’s legislative framework, council and committee procedures, the City’s budget, the Accountability Framework and introductions to the Planning Act and the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
These orientation sessions are open to the media and will run during the first three weeks of November 2018.
Details with respect to the Inauguration Ceremony for the 2018-2022 Term of Council will follow.
