The City of Ottawa wants your input on the projects, policies, programs and services that affect your daily life. From open houses to workshops and online consultations, your feedback helps to shape City decisions.

The following online opportunity is now available:

  • Significant Woodlands Guidelines: The City invites residents to comment on draft guidelines for its new Significant Woodlands policies, which will help protect and identify these areas. Residents can submit written feedback at woodlands@ottawa.ca before Monday, December 17. The City’s Planning Committee and City Council will consider the new guidelines early in 2019.

The following opportunities to learn more about City projects are available:

  • Tuesday, December 4
    Beckett’s Creek Subwatershed Study – Information Meeting
    R.J. Kennedy Arena, Hall A
    1115 Dunning Road
    4:30 to 8 pm
    The Beckett’s Creek Subwatershed study will examine the existing conditions of the area and identify actions to improve its environmental health and condition. Residents will be able to speak with City staff to learn more about the study and review regulation limits and hazard maps for Beckett’s Creek, prepared by the Rideau Valley Conservation Authority.
  • Thursday, December 6
    1950 Scott Street Open house
    Van Lang Field House
    29 Van Lang Private
    6:30 to 8:30 pm
    Zoning By-law Amendment.
