Job Summary

· Data recording in Sage 50 on timely basis for numerous small business clients

· AP – assisting in collections and invoicing and data entry

· AR – issuing invoices as needed

Job Type / Category

Parkway Landscaping is a family owned company, located in Barrhaven. We are looking for a PT bookkeeper to come in once a week to ensure that record keeping is in order.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

· Previous experience as a bookkeeper/ accounting admin

· Associate Degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred)

· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

· Proficient with of MS office and Sage

· Excellent communication and administrative skills

· Excellent computer and electronic filing skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Strong organization skills and attention to detail

· Various administration duties

Good references

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

  • Sage: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Bookkeeping/accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
