Upcoming events and projects will have the following impacts on Ottawa traffic:
Highway 417 between Nicholas Street and Queen Elizabeth Driveway – From Friday, July 26 at 10 pm to Monday, July 29 at 6 am, the median lane of Highway 417 will be closed in both directions between Nicholas Street and Queen Elizabeth Driveway to replace the median barrier wall.
Highway 417 between Moodie Drive and Pinecrest Avenue – Residents should expect intermittent lane closures on Highway 417 until November. Closures will take place weekdays, from 9 pm to 6 am, between Moodie Drive and Pinecrest Avenue, for paving and to add noise barriers.
Merivale Road – There will be intermittent lane closures on Merivale Road, between Baseline Road and Meadowlands Drive, until Tuesday, September 24. The closures are for road rehabilitation and will take place during overnight hours only.
Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway – From Friday, July 26 at 6 pm to Monday, July 29 at 6 am, the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway will be closed in both directions between Parkdale Avenue and Booth Street to complete work to connect the new temporary detour road to the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. This closure will also affect the NOKIA Sunday Bikedays participants on Sunday, July 28. All participants will be able to continue using the parkway during the works; however, they will be diverted on the Ottawa River Pathway for the section between Onigam / Slidell streets and Vimy Place.

National Capital Triathlon – On Saturday, July 27, from 6 am to 2 pm, Hog’s Back Road will be closed between Prince of Wales Drive and Riverside Drive to facilitate the National Capital Triathlon.
