A man in his 40s is in self-isolation after returning from a trip to Austria.

According to Ontario's website tracking new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Ottawa now has its first confirmed case of the illness.
As of 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, it said a man in his 40s is in self-isolation with the virus.

He came down with the coronavirus after travelling to Austria.
Ontario now has 41 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, while 465 others are waiting for test results to come back.
