Homestay Accommodation.
For some years now i have been hosting international students from China, Japan, Asia, and both Western and Eastern Europe as well as the developing world. My experience spans working with both Ottawa and Carleton Universities: I have designed a home stay program that is culturally sensitive for Ottawa University and participated in the further development of the Carleton University Homestay Program. Advancing the needs and reception of international students who would like to further their studies in Canada. I have been able to help students settle in Ottawa as they advance their learning abilities in English and French. Some have settled in Canada, after completing their language studies.. Many have chosen to advance their education in these Universities, travel in Canada and
enjoy lasting friendships with young people from a wide range of cultures and the World.
I offer an opportunity for students to live in a safe environment and benefit from all that it has to offer. Pictures of the homestay indicate the quality accommodation that is being offered. If you would like to learn more about this homestay i would be happy to provide you with specific information that you need.
Past students would also be happy to provide you with information that will brief you on this particular homestay. You will receive all the care that you require as you advance your growth and development.
The language schools in Ottawa are excellent.
I have managed an excellent homestay program in Ottawa. Students have done very well with their language learning and i spend time helping them with their assignments and helping them to resolve any issues they may experience. I spend quality time with the students and enjoy working with younger people to help them excel personally and academically. I consider myself a Citizen of the World embracing all cultures and enjoying these experiences in a homestay.
I am a Canadian. I have studied at both Ottawa and Carleton Universities. I earned an MSc in NGO Management at the London School of Economics. I have lived in London, England for nearly 7 years as a young adult and learned immensely from that experience. I have had an exceptional professional life with the Federal Government of Canada in Senior Positions and with OXFAM CANADA managing the Canadian Program with a staff of 25 and an Office in Ottawa. Travel is my passion. I have travelled extensively and continue to do so. I enjoy working with young people: helping them to advance their language abilities as well as their
personal and academic development. Past students will be able to provide you with their experience and satisfaction based on experiences in this homestay.
