Traffic impacts in Ottawa beginning Friday, July 9

The following projects will impact Ottawa traffic:

• Atlantis Avenue is closed from Selby to Lanark avenues until end of day on Friday, July 16. Local access is maintained.
• Holly Acres Road will close at the Highway 417 interchange from 12 am to 3 am on Thursday, July 15. The off-ramp will remain accessible.
• Highway 174 – The following Highway 174 ramps and lanes will close for Stage 2 LRT roadwork:
  • The eastbound lanes at the Place d’Orléans interchange will close from 7 pm on Friday, July 16 to 5:30 am on Monday, July 19.
  • The westbound on-ramp from southbound Montreal Road will close nightly from 7 pm to 5:30 am from Monday, July 12 to Monday, July 19.
  • The westbound on-ramp from northbound Montreal Road will close nightly from 9 pm to 5:30 am from Wednesday, July 14 to Thursday, July 15.
  • Highway 174 westbound will be reduced to one lane between Jeanne d’Arc Boulevard and Montreal Road from 7 pm on Wednesday, July 14 to 5:30 am on Monday, July 19.
• Montreal Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction under the Highway 174 overpass until mid-July for Stage 2 LRT work. The road is closed nightly from 6 pm to 6am until Saturday, July 10, and again from Monday, July 12 to Thursday, July 15. Access to ramps to and from the highway remain open, except for the following:
  • The eastbound on-ramp from Montreal Road southbound is closed nightly from 6 pm to 6am until Saturday, July 10, and again from Monday, July 12 to Thursday, July 15
  • The westbound on-ramp from Montreal Road northbound is closed nightly from 6 pm to 6am until Saturday, July 10, and again from Monday, July 12 to Thursday, July 15
• Hunt Club Road westbound will be reduced to one lane between Airport Parkway and Mac Street nightly from 7 pm to 6 am from Monday, July 12 to Friday, July 16 for Stage 2 LRT work.
• Carling Avenue, from 300 metres west of Saigon Court to 500 metres east of Kirkwood Avenue, will have the following lane closures for street widening work:
  • The south lane on Carling Avenue westbound will close from 7 am on Monday, July 12 to Sunday, October 31.
  • The east lane on Carling Avenue eastbound will close from 7 am on Monday, July 19 to Sunday, October 31.
• Saigon Court, from Carling Avenue eastbound to Carling Avenue will have a northbound lane closure from 7 am on Monday, July 19 to Sunday, October 31.
• Bank Street, from Mitch Owens Road to Parkway Road, will close from 7 pm on Friday, July 16 to 6 am on Monday, July 19 as part of a watermain replacement project. A signed detour for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists will be in place. Local access will be maintained.
• Dalmac Road, just north of Dalmeny Road, will close from Thursday, July 15 until early October due to bridge rehabilitation work. A signed detour will be in place for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
