Job Title: Store Manager
Location: Montreal (Training in Ottawa during the probation period)

Job Summary:
As a Presotea Store Manager, you will oversee the operations and success of the Presotea location under your management. Your responsibilities will include hiring, training, and leading team members across multiple locations, fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment, and ensuring operational and financial goals are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities
Team Management:

  • Recruit, onboard, and provide in-store training for new hires.
  • Motivate, coach, and retain baristas through regular feedback and support.
  • Oversee team member development and career progression within the store.
  • Cultivate a fun, inclusive, and positive work environment for all staff.


Customer Experience:
  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service and a superior retail experience.
  • Address customer feedback promptly and implement measures to enhance service quality.
  • Build and maintain customer loyalty by establishing relationships with regular patrons.


Operational Excellence:
  • Develop efficient weekly schedules that align with business seasonality, staff availability, and individual capabilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place timely orders, and prevent stockouts or last-minute rush orders.
  • Ensure all food products are handled, stored, prepared, and served in compliance with company and government food safety standards.
  • Supervise store opening and closing procedures to ensure adherence to operational standards.
  • Take initiative in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for both customers and employees.
  • Lead monthly deep-cleaning efforts and decorate the store for special holidays and events.


Business Growth:
  • Execute store promotions and seasonal menu rollouts, including staff training on new recipes and point-of-sale (POS) updates.
  • Communicate effectively and confidentially with the Operations Manager, providing timely updates and reports.
  • Respond promptly and positively to external customer inquiries and requests.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail, food & beverage management, or a related supervisory role.
  • Skills: Proven leadership, coaching, and customer service abilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills; strong organizational and time-management capabilities; sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-Driven: Demonstrated success in driving sales and managing costs.
  • Work Environment: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English & Mandarin (required); French & Cantonese (preferred).

Pay: From $48,000.00 per year

  • Restaurant management: 2 years (preferred)
  • Barista: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (required)
