O-Train Line 1 service will be affected by partial or full closures on some evenings and weekends this month, to allow for maintenance and O-Train East Extension integration activities.
The following service adjustments are planned in June:
All rail systems require regular maintenance to support the long-term sustainability and reliability of the system. This year, in addition to working with Rideau Transit Maintenance, OC Transpo has coordinated with the Stage 2 Extension project and Infrastructure and Water Services Department to address multiple priorities and minimize the number of disruptions to rail service for customers.
OC Transpo staff will be at key stations to support customers during their trips. For updates and trip planning assistance, visit octranspo.com, use the Travel Planner or Transit app, or call 613-560-5000. You can also connect with OC Transpo through Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.

- R1 bus service will run between Tunney’s Pasture and Hurdman stations.
- O-Train Line 1 will run between uOttawa and Blair stations.
- On June 7, after 10 pm, June 8 after 7 pm, and June 12 after 10 pm:
- R1 bus service will run between Rideau and Blair stations.
- O-Train Line 1 will run between Tunney’s Pasture and uOttawa stations.
- On June 14 and 15:
- O-Train Line 1 will be fully closed all day.
- R1 bus service will run between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair stations.
- On June 22 and 29, from 8 am to noon:
- O-Train Line 1 will be fully closed.
