Title:
Position based: Beijing, China
Salary Range (gross): USD140,000 to USD200,000 (all inclusive package)
Responsibilities:
China Chief Technology Officer to assist China GM managing
Technologies in Computation Products (microprocessors), Flash
memories and Personal Connectivity Solutions to support China business growth.
Responsible for development of an overall Technology Plan and recommends products and services that lead to a high level of integration between the company's business systems, its data warehouse, and online applications. Present technical briefings to senior government leaders; key customers, technology partners, industry seminars, conferences, and industry analysts in China. Manage China Engineering Lab. The lab has been set up newly, and currently has 5 technical staff - mainly performing technical support (validation for personal computer boards).
Language requirements: Mandarin Chinese (fluent); English (fluent)
Expect to spend 70% of time in China, 30% in US.
Knowledge requirements:
15+ years of IT and business/industry or work experience, of which 5+ years should be in a Leadership role for multiple IT/business functions.
Semiconductor microchip experience required.
PH. D or Masters degree in computer/communication/microelectronics
science/Engineering.
Overseas education/work experience.
Reporting line: Direct line to China General Manager. Indirect report
to Global CTO.
Relocation package: Relocation expenses can be covered.
Interview arrangements: 2 rounds of interviews in Beijing, with a
further 2 in US.
