Looks like all it does is shorting out those two pins. So If you have some very basic skills, you can think of a million ways to do it without that "speed strip" easily. On the other hand, I don't know who sells it in canada, but you can order it from the states for $14.95US. Not cheap for such a strip.

也可以用细铜线连针脚，或者用石墨笔连金属桥，以前还有用铅笔弄的。不过这些方法都很容易失败，还是这个贴片保险点。

只是起个导体的作用，其实原理很简单，如果有工具，自己也可以做，哈哈。
