I am using Telus (not Bell, I am not in Ottawa now). I tried to reinstall the program with the installation CD yesterday evening, but it even cannot connect to the server. Callled the customer service again, what they can tell me is that everything is OK from their side and I am not logon. They suggested me to reinstall tcp/ip, but I even cannot remove the current one. They also suggested me to scan virus, but I am using the latest MacAfee and Zone Alarm. The Ip I got from ipconfig /renew is starting with 192.***.***.***. They told me it means I are using router, but I only have one computer. When I issue the ipconfig /renew, I can tell that the command is sent out by the ZoneAlarm Alert and the blinking lights on the Modem. How I can get an IP with the router? By the way, ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew are the commands I was asked to do each time when I called.
Is it possible there are something wroing with the phoneline outside my home? Any suggestions? I have used Telus ADSL for almost half a year, everything have been OK before.
