is there anything in the directory called setup.exe, you should use that one instead of autorun directly. Autorun is used when your autorun feature on your cdrom is enabled

KB0007 - Error 1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime

The information in this articles applies to:

Symptoms
When you attempt to install Living Cookbook version 1.3 on some PCs, the following error occurs:

Error 1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.


Cause
This error is thrown by Setup.exe when the InstallScript engine fails to install properly.

Resolution
1. Reboot your PC.
2.
Download, unzip and run the following file:

IsScript.zip

3.
Try installing Living Cookbook. If Living Cookbook does not install, continue with step 4.
4. Register the IDriver file manually on the machine. To do this, click Start->Run and paste the following command into the Open box and click OK:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\7\Intel 32\IDriver.exe" /REGSERVER

5. Try installing Living Cookbook. If Living Cookbook does not install, continue with step 6.

Download and run the following file:

InstmsiA.exe (if you are running Windows 95/98/Me/XP Home Edition)

InstmsiW.exe (if you are running Windows NT/2000/XP Professional Edition)

Register the file Msiexec.exe manually on the machine. To do this, click Start->Run and paste the following command into the Open box and click OK:

C:\Windows\System\Msiexec.exe /REGSERVER (if you are running Windows 95/98/Me/XP Home Edition)

C:\Winnt\System32\Msiexec.exe /REGSERVER (if you are running Windows NT/2000/XP Professional Edition)

8. Reinstall Living Cookbook.
