Something wrong with my computer!
After it boots it is often dead since it cannot find a file or just become dead suddenly !

I have re-install system for many time , but it still like this!

I scan the disk it find some errors in the harddriver(IBM 30g, but once it slumped on ground :( )

So how I can do with it! I need your advise thanks a lot!!</HTML>

try bios's low level format

<HTML>see if your bios can provide low level format function.
you can do a low level format first.
or using some sw to do this job, can not remember the name.

<HTML>I have the same problem in last week. First, if it always dead suddenly, and even it happened when you do nothing. I think the problme is your power source. You can borrow a good one from your friend, and try it again. This is my AD.</HTML>
