I got the same question when I came to Canada.

my suggestion is:

go to Home Depot and Rona, looking for some finished tool handle, it is very good, you can buy one (6' length ususally) and cut it by yourself, maybe you can share with others.

a buck or two has cheap one, canadian tire has expensive one, but neither is the same to chinese rolling pin.

我昨天也这样认为，当我在一个超市看见很多农具的时候，我惊喜的发现那些农具的把儿很光滑，而且粗细也合适，有单卖把的，我想卖一个，但苦于没有锯子，怎么CUT呢？
ONE DOLLAR 店里的擀面杖是比较粗的那种，而且两边带把儿。我不会用。
