[问题] 问个连硬盘的菜鸟问题

我有两个硬盘，两个CD。怎样接才合理？
Pri. Master HD1, Slave CD1
Sec. Master HD2, Slave CD2
or
Pri. Master HD1, Slave HD2
Sec. Master CD1, Slave CD2

让我郁闷好久，到底是底气不足来这儿问问。

Yes, CD is not used all the time, HD will be used more often, so, each HD has itself cable is good choice.

其实没啥大区别.而且分别接线,难度较大.一般的线肯定不够长,机箱会很乱,散热就不好了.而且很少有2个硬盘一起用的时候.

如果你不是经常用cd-rom or cdrw-rom的话，就可把硬盘接到两个IDE的master上，这种办法接线有点难度，可以去买合适的线或更改一下排线上插头的位置。平时cd-rom里如果有闲置光盘的话， 最好取出。反之，如果要频繁使用光驱，则最好把两个硬盘放在PriIDE上，光驱都放在SecIDE上，以防止光驱拖慢硬盘速度。

up is right. Old motherboard only has 1 ide slot for DMA 66. that means only 1 slot for DMA66 Cable to connect to harddrives. So should be 2 harddrivers connect to the same cable and connect to the ide O. Ide 1 is DMA 33, that is for CD-Rom to use. Now, all new motherboards have 2 DMA100 slots, both can connect harddrives or all Roms. That means harddrives can connect to both ide slots. For inside motherboard, ide slots r controlled by ide controller, use more controllers, pc will running slower. if cd-rom is not using usually, so connect cd-roms to seperate ide slot, is my advance.

没想到这里还真蛮有门道的，谢谢大家。
俺一个盘40G，一个120G，家里只有一台机器，只用一个盘觉得可惜，现调整成Pri Mas 40G, Slave 120G, Sec. both are CDs试试看.
