i want to backup my e-mail from microsoft outlook,
how to i do it?

Outlook 97/2000/XP/2003:
The files that store all your Outlook data are at these locations:
Windows 9X/ME: C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst
Windows NT/2000/XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst

To backup:
Simply navigate to the correct path for your system and make a copy of the .pst file.

To restore:
Open Outlook > File > Import and Export. > Select "Import from another program or file" > Next. > Select "Personal Folder File (.pst)" > Next. > Browse and select the copy of the desired .pst file to be restored > Next > Finish
