DELL PC的Dual Channel 问题

DELL 的PC 经常拿不同的配置来卖.

如果有两台DELL的DIMENSION 3000机器,(主板应该是一样的)
其他配置相同,差别在RAM

1) PC A 的配置是256M PC3200 RAM
2) PC B 的配置是2*256M (512M) PC3200 DUAL CHANNEL RAM

这两款机器的VALUE(税前)倒底差多少? $50? 还是 $100?

另外市面上真正的2*256M (512M) PC3200 DUAL CHANNEL RAM是否都要上200元?

而一些所谓的PERFECT MATCH, 是否可以和DUAL CHANNEL RAM有一拼?

换个问法:

如果拿到一台号称是用的DUAL CHANNEL RAM的机器(假设主板支持DUAL RAM),怎样鉴别真伪? 怎样鉴别它是否拿普通牌子的两块RAM凑数?

Perfect Match mean when the 2 sticks 256 M memory go out the market, they already tested and prove that they r in the same speed same frency. Rfy for dual channel. They r better than no match or different brands to use dual channel. Normally good dual channel perfect match rams they have the same stickers tell you then .

dual channel就是那么回事,他的标准是只要内存一样就行.所以dual channel包装的内存和2条一样的单根内存是没什么差异的,在价格上也没区别.
dell的网上升级价格都比市场上贵很多,所以一般情况下,不要升级.
我觉得你可能是被dell的价格唬住了,以为dual cahnnel多贵,呵呵.
这事你可以不用想了,只要机器用起来没问题就行了.
