How to fix the problem?!

Could anyone please tell me what might be wrong with the car?
When I turn on the engine, the car starts to shake continuously even when it is running. The battery light comes out showing not enough battery. Could it be the only reason? Or there might be something else? Please help me.

my co-workers 3 of them drive Pontia have the same problems ..alternator

should be alternator ,sometime brake light turn on also for janpan car
check bettery volts.most of it is regulator defective,try to find one from junk yard with same model ,rebulid one should 170 dollars .if old car find second hand is better.
