Hi, I have to turn to your experts for help!

I bought the Belkin F5D7000 desktop PCI card on the boxing day from CompuSmart for $14.99 (after mail rebate). I want to install it on an old dell Optiplex XMT 5120 machine (32 MB RAM, 4 GB Hard drive) running Win98 SE. I tried to install the software
(from the CD comes with the PCI card) for the card on the machine
but the installation always causes the system
re-booting. I can install the software on my newer machine (P4 box) running the same Win98 SE. So I ruled out the OS problem. I tried to re-formatted and re-installed the Win98 SE on the machine, but every time when I try to install the software, it causes the system re-booting. The machine's settings are as the following:

Computer
-- Dia-Up Adapter
-- Gameport Joystick
-- Plug and Play BIOS
-- Communications Port (COM1)
-- Communications Port (COM2)
-- Direct memory access controller
-- Numeric data processer
--PCI bus
-- CMD PCI-0640 PCI to IDE Controller
-- Intel 82378 SIO PCI to ISA bridge
-- IO read data port for ISA Plug and Play enumerator
-- Intel 82434NX Pentium(r) Prcesser to PCI bridge
-- S3 Version 864 PCI
-- Default Monitor
-- Printer Port (LPT1)
-- Programmable interrupt controller
-- PS/2 Compatible Mouse Port
-- Standard 101/102-key or Microsoft Natural Keyboard
-- Standard Floppy Disk Controller
-- System board extension for PnP BIOS
-- System CMOS/real time clock
-- System speaker
-- System timer
-- Processor support
-- Sound Blaster Pro or compatible
-- System board

I compared the configuration with that of the newer machine, under PCI bus, the old machine seems missing one device, PCI standard host CPU bridge.

I am wondering if the missing one will cause the problem?

I badly need your help!
