SYSTEM SCIENCE的MASTER录取问题

有朋友申请SYSTEM SCIENCE的MASTER吗，或者是在读的？
我刚刚申请了，收到了学校的通知是graduate certificate,而不是master in system science.看学校网站上写的是大多数人都是先录取进去读完graduate certificate，然后通过committee的同意才能得到master degree.
有朋友知道是怎么回事吗，读完certificate完成degree 要什么条件才能通过，难吗？多谢！！！

找到导师，然后写论文，如果光上课不做论文，只能得certificate

这个专业我抱的时候就是有一个msc一个master.就是说msc是写论文毕业的master是修课毕业的。现在我申请的是修课毕业的，然后ottawa说给大部分人的都是先是certificate然后在定能不能继续修别的课程给degree.

学校问过了，问不到，就是说录取以后修了学分再定，具体怎么决定不知道，就想请教就读这个专业，或者知道的朋友讲讲。谢谢

我的也是这样的。大家研究一下啊
他是说 We admit all students in the Graduate Certificate. Once you find a
Supervisor we can then transfer you to the M.Sc.

it's said very clair:就是让你找导师. if you cannot find导师, only certificate.(since you don't have project, you cannot find a supervisor). by the way, I heard that all the students are chinese in this major. so you can discuss with your classmates in chinese. but it's said that 97% graduates did not find job.
