I am planning a vacation to Cuba within a month. Since I have never been there, I have no idea where to go, where to stay, and for how long. Can anyone who has been there give me some advise please?

I have done some research, and feel like to take the The Varadero Palace vacation package from GoTravelDirect for $1299. Is it a good deal? Also I would like to go to Havana for a couple of days during the trip. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

By the way, in May, I am going to Banff Park for a few days. Any suggestion? I heard there was a train that I can take from Calgary to Vancouver, which will go acoss Banff Park, is that true? If so, how do I get on it? Thank you again!

Cuba is boring unless you are a beach person.

For Canadian Rockies only, this one is very good in price. You will stay in hostels not hotels.

Moose Travel Network will take you from Rockies to Vancouver.

If you are Canadian or US visa holder, find time for these two tours which have covered the best part of North America.

If you don't have enough time, you can still find short ones from the same site. Note there is a link about last minutes discount, and most of the tours are camping in small group which is cool. You only need to take sleeping bag.

You can either book online or through agency. No difference in price. The Flight Center on 1st floor of Bayshore Shopping Center can book the tour and of course flight for you. Make sure to mention the discount if the tour is under discount, in case the agent is unaware of it.

If you only have Chinese passport, you can still find similar tours in Maxico from the same company.

ohhh, you should pay me.:lookaroun

life has been busy, need a place to rest. I figured lying on a white sand beach should be a way to go. :-D

About the rockie tour, if it was not with my Mom, I would definately take it. The amont of challenges seems worth to try. I love that type of activities in the wild. I will do it on another time.

Thanks for your info, lala!

Anyone else?
