A stupid question

how to remove "Draft" word from the background of MS word document without change the doc format?

assume you are using office xp, go to format->background->printed watermark
choose no watermark

thank you, but i use MS office 2000 and should be under headers and footers menu, but i can't find Watermark..

I already tried, but I need text on the doc and there are 150 pages, even I make a new template, cut and paste..still will cut the watermark. but thank you

I don't have printed watermark menu under background...that is why i feel really bad about it...

Do you have MS office 2000 ??

我的是2002。
我的版本说，watermark只有在 “print layout" view里才有。如果你的还不行，只好用用 word本身的help。键入”watermark", "remove watermark"。

"Remove a watermark
To remove a watermark, you must delete it from the header or footer.

Open the document from which you want to remove the watermark.


On the View menu, click Header and Footer.
Show Me

If necessary, move to the header or footer from which you want to delete the watermark.
How?

In the header or footer area, select the text or graphic, and press DELETE.

I don't want to remove the header or footer, I want to remove watermark at mid of the page as background.....make me crazy

thank you, I removed the watermark, actaully the second Note really helped, that watermark was in the header.
