Questions about 移民申请?Thanks!

I have two questions for the experienced immigrants! Thank you very much for the help in advance!

1) I did my medical check on January 24, 2005 and was asked to pay for the landing fee at the same time; and I haven't got any further information since then. Is it normal?
2) I also got my work permit recently, should I mail it to Buffalo in order to increase my creditablility.

I have contacted CIC ottawa center and Buffalo over 4 times in the last two months; however, I have not got a clear anwer. I wish any skilled worker immigrations with similar experience could give me a hand! Thousands of thanks!

By the way, have you ever heard about the change of immigration process? I was told by a CIC agent that they actually ask the applicants to do the medical check before they start to access their cases. This is something confused me badly!

Am I the only one who heard this sort of news? Pls help!
