I like to repair my own car and on the 5 of April 2005 my car broke down and I need to learn about the code reader before I can fix it. I brought the code reader for about $200.00 and learn about the www.codereader.com.

I learned OBD I was start from 1981 and OBD II was from 1996.

这人说了半天,根本不知道在说什么.搞笑.:D:D:D

To spend $200 for a code reader is not a good choice. With similar amount money, you should have gotten a scan tool with dyno. You would be able to not only read code, but also get real time reading, trend for all standard OBDII parameter (factory specific code and parameter are not included), which are much more valuable for diagnosis. You would also measure horse power, torque, 1/4 mile time etc.

Thank you for your advise!

This is the story about lifechange.
After my car broke down and I rode bicyle to go to work for more than 4 months and able to meet some old friend on the road.It toke me at least 2 and half an hours for the ride every day,but I felt my health and my eye sign is getting better after.
I checked my car with the code reader and it tells nothing wrong with the system and it toke me 4 months to keep reading the car manue and trying to replace some of the ignition parts. At last I try to replace the electronic resistor and my car able to start again!
A used electronic resistor cost me $50.00 and the new one is about $120.00.
Next time I may try to get a new car instead of fixing it!
