Cann't you find it out yourself?

I have been hanging out in the website for years. I have answered quite a few questions and sometimes I was reluctant to put forward my own ideas anymore.

Yes, this place is where we share informations, where we can make friends, where we can be helped and help others. Anyway, I am afraid of it has been overused. I noticed that there was a request on how to get to his Bank by bus. I noticed there was a request on the address and phone # of a resturant. Actually, I don't see why he put forward such a question. For the first question, he can use the web, use the OC Transpo information line, find it in his monthly statement (at least the 800 phone number, which will work, too.) For the second, he can always find it in the yellowpages, in the web (Canada 411) or other means. I believe all of them are more convenient and time saving.

Perhaps I am too fussy over it. They are just new immigrants. Anyway, they have to learn how to survive in this world and they have to learn how to handle challenges before them. Only by this way, can he or she be adapted in this world. SOONER OR LATER, HE OR SHE HAS TO DO IT HIMSELF/HERSELF. THE EARLIER, THE BETTER.

I don't want to open a can of worm. Just put forward my 2 cents. I am open to any comments if only it is out of kindness, if only it is from a serious participator of this discussion.

I agree with your opinion that anyone should try to rely on themself for everything.
But when I read your previous posts, a question comes to me, why you are trying to put some information in this forum if anyone else won't buy it? You may argue that those information is important and hard to obtain. But how can you tell which one is important and which one is not? So please don't try to push others to accept your own criteria.

Since the information is asymmetric, there would be always some guys asking questions and other guys replying.
So just take it easy.
