The ticket should show where you should go. Last time we go to city office near centralpoint. After explanation, the fine has been reduced half. If we were willing to court, it may be cancelled. But you have to wait a year for the court.

Do you mean you can deal with any Ottawa city office about it? On the ticket I don't see it. The location on the ticket is farrr away from where I parked.

Never fight a parking ticket... no chance to win.

Several cars including ours got a $75 ticket on Civic holiday(Monday) in downtown in May.

From the sign, parkings are allowed during holidays but not from Mon to Fri. We went to the city(close to central point) to talk to an officer(there are officers there to answer questions) and he cancelled the ticket because we parked our car there on holiday instead of a regular Monday.

The guy who issued the tickets is really bad because he needed to finish his quota and he knew some people didn't have time to fight for this $75 or they would get this $75 back but lose their pay.
