我9月10号在一个YIELD SIGN 停车让行的时候被后面的一辆车 撞了后面的BUMPER 那个人说私了 让我先去修 由于一直忙 直到上个星期才去DEALER那里估了一下价 大概要300多快钱吧 我这个星期给那个人打电话联系 但是那边一直是电话留言 我留言他也不回

1 这种情况我应该报保险公司吗? 报保险公司应该怎么联系?> 联系我的保险公司还是那个人的保险公司啊?
2 我的保险会不会涨啊?
3 我还想在等两天的话 对于保险公司来说有没有什么事故期限啊 也就是说过了多久他们就不管了?

How old is your car? If it is not a new car (5-years) and it was just a scratch, I think you'd give up since most people have this kind small faults.

Do you have his driver licence number, policy number? If you know, you'd call your insurance company to handle this. If you do not know, think and decide if you want to claim it. You need to know what the coverage is. If your policy does not cover it, do not claim with insurance company because if you do so, you will get trouble when you renew or switch your policy even it was not fault. Keep your policy clear is the best.

It seems the guy don't want to pay for your repair. I have similar experience.

If you report to police and have the case #, you might still have chance to go after this guy.
Otherwise, too bad, I don't think this guy going to pay for your repair.

They usually don't response your call. You better action as soon as possible if you have any prove of he damage your car.
