divX and multi-format playback

sorry this question is not totally related to computer.

i went to buy a DVD player to play DVD i burned from internet. It looks like i need the one with divX certified. but i think i also need the one with mult-format playback, right! because i need it can play DVD-RW.

Well, i could ask the salesperson, but i left in a rush. by the way, thanks a lot if you can let me know whether i am right.

你说的是带DIVX支持的DVD player吧?普通的DVD放不了DIVX格式的片子的.好像现在的DVD player没有不支持DVD-RW的吧.
你最好还是用中文把你的问题好好说一下,要不你把上面的话说给sales听,要么他听不懂,要么他假装听懂然后随便找个东西搪塞你.

some dvd players can play divx and some dvd players can not play
DVD-RW.that is i wanna to know.sorry my poor chinglish so that i let u miss two points

Philips DVP642 from Walmart. Play dvds,dvdr,dvdrw, divx and some xvid
