你不拿加拿大护照也可照实说

I would say NO. Just say you are a tourist if you want to be trouble free.

just something out of this subject. I recently got Canadian citizenship, I am looking for a opportunity to find a job in States. Any suggests? experiences?

Thank you.

Say you are going for interview, and provide a letter of confirmation from your potential employer. Why should you lie to custom? If they discover your lie, you know how serious is the consequeses?

How could they know what you are going to do in US? If I were you, I won't say anything related to work or seeking a job.

That is not lying. Actually you ARE a tourist in the first place, by the way you will have an interview. (If you didn't have a Canadian passport and you wanted to apply for a visa to US, they would have gave you a tourist visa.)

You can get into US whatever eventually because you have a Canadian passport. You don't need to worry about this at all. The point here is that if you are ready and comfortable to answer all those further nonsense questions they may ask you if you say you are going there for an interview.

This is just based on people's experience. You don't have to listen to this. The decision is all yours.

do not lie. Say go for an interview.

Custom might ask you the followings:

1) Where are you coming from?
2) Where are you staying?
3) Visiting any friends?
4) If you are a tourist, why are you staying so short?

Just tell them you are going for interview, provide with interview notice from employer. They won't give you hard time.

yes, no problem. I just did it.

I hope you are not suggesting that the INS makes a another visa catagoty for foreign prospect workers coming into the US for job interviews -- it is easy to bluff if it is not your job that is on the line. As a previous poster has already pointed out, with round trip ticket and short trip that lasts only about 2-3 days, it is hard to convince the US custom officers that you are coming only for your personal leisure - remember, we are talking about professionals who are trained to ask questions - and that is only part of the problem. If you insist, as I have seen once, they will ask you to call the person you say you would visit in the US right away. If this happens, do you think that our LZ would like to have this as part of his/her already stressful interview? your guess is as good as mine. Cheers!

实说没有问题

美国和加拿大有协议的,工作没有配额限制

而且,老美还想人去呢

好的他从来不拒
