借这里人气问一下(版主大人手下留情)： RESEARCH IN MOTION 这家公司的面试是怎样的？

最近接到人事部的电话，说要安排第一轮面试。小弟有几个问题不是很清楚，还望有在RESEARCH IN MOTION工作的前辈指点一二，在下不胜感激！事成定携全家登门拜谢，请客吃饭当然更不是问题。

(1) 不知道这家公司有几轮面试？

(2) 每一轮面试大概是怎样的？有什么特别之处？

(3) 听说好像有笔试。笔试是象IBM那样考智商？还是考专业问题？

俺功夫不到家，失手过一次。请客就算了。

我经历的都是专业问题，准备专业问题，没有IBM的智力题。没听说笔试，为了讲清楚，到黑板上和纸上画两笔是有的。很可能有数个人分别单独上来轮番轰炸，车轮战。主要是讲清楚你干过什么，如果你做到好像是去上班和同行轻松愉快地讨论技术问题和以前的工作，并且讨论你感兴趣的问题，那么这个工作基本上你就拿下来了。如果没有工作经验，那就好象讨论功课，有问有答。也看和人相处是否对路。这都是有感觉的。
就好像一首老歌唱的：“跟着感觉走，请抓住我的手。”也就是要狠狠地握握手。

another question,　one company in the states offered to fly me down to " see me in person and discuss details", after 2 sessions of long phone interviews and salary discussion.

so i figured it's on site interview. any suggestion? if they didn't say there is a test, is it possible they are going to test me any way?

You may ask them for an interview schedule. It is usually a day-long run. A paper test is not involved in most cases. But don't be surprised if there is one for you.

thank you very much for the info z24, a day long interview sounds dreadful.erhhhh....I have to tough up i guess =(((
