加中联手为渥太华老人院筹善款

渥太华2006年2月17日电--享誉中国的笑星大山3月23日将回到他的家乡渥太华参加慈善演出，为渥太华老年公寓――格丽伯中心筹集善款。

原名马克•罗斯威尔的大山将作为特邀佳宾出席这项由渥太华市长鲍勃•谢瑞理和中国驻加拿大大使卢树民共同主办的大型活动。

大山将担纲演出主角。期间，还将举行一个特殊仪式，由市长谢瑞理向大山颁发“城市钥匙”，以表彰他对建设渥太华和中国的交流桥梁所作出的贡献。

本次演出由渥太华华人社团成员负责组织，并且得到了渥太华市政府的大力支持。演出所有收益均将用于格丽伯中心特别是6楼的长期维护。

罗斯威尔被誉为“中国最有名的外国人”，他不仅是中国电视台的当红明星，还是全中国人心目中的文化亲善大使。以表演中国传统相声而出名的他，届时将奉献精彩节目，让渥太华市民亲身体验他的名字在中国为什么会妇孺皆知。

大山（罗斯威尔）讲一口流利的普通话，过去17年来一直活跃在中国电视台的节目里，早已为8亿观众所熟悉，并被《时代杂志》评为“21世纪的领导者”之一。

目前，中心点剧场售票处已经开始发售演出票，前排票价每张55加元，楼上票价每张50加元。由于本次演出仅有一场，演出票预计将很快售罄。

所有希望同大山会面的朋友，可购买价值125加元的贵宾票，参加谢瑞理市长和卢树民大使在演出开始前大山举行的特别招待会。谢瑞理市长和卢树民大使均将出席招待会，招待会将在剧场旁边举行。凡购买贵宾票者将收到一张特别请柬，其中包括一张前排预留座位的演出票。

大山现象

说到电视，不能不提到中央电视台的“外国人才艺大赛”和“同乐五洲”节目，几乎每个星期都可以看到。在这些节目里，在中国的外国人用熟练或不熟练的中国话唱歌、演小品、说相声甚至当主持人，节目收视率长盛不衰。

为什么中国观众会喜欢这样的节目呢？我琢磨这里面可能有两个原因。如鲁迅所言，“中国人或把外国人当成鬼，或把外国人当成神，鲜有将其视为同类者”。

第一个原因就是把外国人当成小鬼子了，看他们在台上出的洋相，就像京剧里的丑角，所以感到很可乐很开心。

第二是把外国人当成神了，连神都来学说我们的语言，说明我们中华文化的无穷魅力，所以感到很骄傲很自豪。

其实老外们既不是鬼，也不是神。像大山这样的加拿大人，不远万里来到中国，这是什么精神？不是国际主义精神，更不是共产主义精神，其实就是因为在中国好挣钱。

老外们看准了中国人的上述两种心态，说相声，演小品，拍广告，你想听什么就说什么，随时可以伸出大拇指，连声说OK，只要你给钱。我把这种有中国特色的现象归纳为“大山现象”，决非贬低我们的大山兄弟，只是想告诉国人：大山现象，只有中国有。我在国外二十余年，曾在亚、非、欧四个国家长期生活，会说两门外语，但从来没有参加过一次“才艺大赛”，也没看见任何一个因为会说当地国家语言而走红了的其他外国艺术家，真的没有。

I wonder if you remember, when Dashan first started, several Laowai were invited. Only Dashan became a star in China. Others did not. Do you want to ask why? Those people may speake better Chinese than Dashan, and may even have better looks.

So, can there be a star without an audience? Has any one sold products, using Dashan as their spokesperson? So what is wrong to get his help to help seniors in our community? If we should not get help from people like Dashan, are you coming out to help?

So if you are not going to help, can we ask you to shut up in the name of a good cause?
