Yes, it is true. There is a very famous professor who won the biggest award in the world (equals to Norbel Prize, but there is no Norbel Prize in Maths and Statistics). I had a friend who is now a professor in Statistics in USA, and he strongly recommended Carleton Statistics.

不要误了大家, 问题要分清楚:
本科还是研究生?
硕士还是博士?
强弱在哪些方面?
基础教育还是学术研究?
应用统计(例如health, finance, marketing)还是数理统计?

前5名, 哪一项?
好好想想, 多看看...
美国的学校就不说了, 比较加拿大的就可以了, 例如UofT, UofWaterloo, UBC, UofWOntario, McGill, .....

GRADUATE的话，U waterloo的肯定是排第一。UBC好像排不到top 5吧。:confuse:
