Share the experience with DOW HONDA

Let share the experience with DOW HONDA to avoid folks to
suffer the same experience.

My honda car made terrible noise from rear wheels after driving
for several minutes in high way recently.
But when I apply the break, the noise will go away.

I decribe the problem to Down Honda and I got an appointment that
was one and half week later. I could not drive my car during waiting.

I left my car at the DOW HONDA on 7:00 am at the appointment day.
I was told that the problem will be fixed. don't worry.
Until 4:00pm, no phone call from Dow Honda. Then ,I made a call, I was told that no report about my car come out, somebody should call
me in 30 mins. Finally I got a call that tell me:
NO ABNORMAL NOISE HEARD TODAY. BREAKS DOWN TO APROX 10 %.
I disagree with the check result because that I bought my two years
ago and the milage is only 25000 km.
After I took a dow honda technician with me to do the road test,
He actually heared the noise from inside and outside the car.
but He could not figer out where the noise came from and tell me
the noise definitely not come from the break. The Dow honda needed
to do future check. It was arround 7:30 PM. I had to leave my car.

I did not get any call from Dow Honda next day until I called them
arround 4:30 pm. I was told that no report came out. So I did talk
to the service manager,and he told me they are doing some check on my
car and I can know the result tonight.
I got a call arround 7:30 pm at home from Dow Honda. I was told that
they will close the door soon and nothing had done on my car!!!

Around 8:45 am the next day, I got call that tell me:
A DIAGNOSE REAR "HOWLING NOISE".
The REAL BREAKS 95% WORN-ROTOR BEING SCORED.

That is all the time consume, next time
I will tell how good the Dow Honda service is
if folks are interesting in the story

I am afread that anybody like to fix a break problem like my case.
1. bought brand new honda car two years ago
2. only 25000 km
Now the break worn out 95 %

Before I got the the case solved, I'd like ask folks what is the problem in my case:

when I drive my car for several minutes on high way,
the terrible noise came out, then no matter the speed was high
or low.
If I applied the break, the noise will gone right way.

A question: did you have break serviced regularly?

Good point !
I had my car the break inspection on the honda dealer.
when it was 18000km.
The result of break inspection is:
NO BREAK SERVICE REQUIRED.

First Invoice:
No abnormal noises heard today. Note. rear
Breaks down to aprox 10 %

After I help the Dow Honda technician to hear the noise,
He said that he could not make sure what caused the noise,
but it definitely not come from the rear break.

The Second Invoice:
A Diagnose rear "Howling Noise"
Rear breaks 95% worn-rotor being scored-breaks

Explanation from Dow Honda:
1 Because I did not have my car break service done
when it was 16000 km. (I showed them I had my car break
inspection at ottawa honda, the result is no action reqired
for break service)
2 Rear pads appear to be sticking causing premature wear $
rotor grooving.
3 another one come from the service manage.
because I have driven the car without release my hand break,
that made scoring on rotor.

The concluion form Dow Honda service is that
because the break service was not done at 16000km, the result of
my car (now is 25000km) is not covered by warrenty.
I have to pay.
