It will be a cold wait for the bus this winter along Rideau Street.
Ottawa's Transportation Committee has voted to remove enclosed bus shelters on Rideau.
Councillor Georges Bedard says the shelters are a haven for crack dealers and loiterers.
OC Transpo has balked at the cost in the past.
The new shelters will have a roof, but no walls.
