请问版主一个问题[问题]

刚刚一场大雨, 我担心刚建的foundation 变成一小水塘了, the foundation 刚铺上条状的水泥底, should be "footing", 我想请问版主这样的大雨会不会对foundation的质量有影响.我明天中午再去看看是否有积水.

我记得以前土建工程师跟我说过,水泥半天就会固化,但要十几天才达到最大强度.固化的水泥应该是不怕水的.水泥本身是水溶胶,没水还不行,天热还得撒水.有些特殊水泥在水底都能固化.要是你的FOUNDATION不是今天刚浇的应该没事.

十分感谢版主的回答, 那些条状的框架(20cm高)应是上星期五铺的, 我担心积水将条状的框架下的泥泡软了, 会不会照成沉降等, 我是否应该向builder说一下,或应找builder的那一个部门?

I think it should be ok! Don't worry about it. There will always be settlement. We just need whole foundation to settle evenly.

I went there this afternoon, It looks OK, I only saw a little water on the bottom of the foundation ( around 1 inch high), but I always found so high water in the lot. does the foundation already touch the water table?

No Ottawa's water table is not that high. I think the soil may be heavy clay or rocky, not sandy. The water is difficult to pass down to the soil. It is not bad, it should be have strong support for the foundation.

I understand, I believe that the soil is very heavy clay, because I found all soil that were token out are completely same color and very tiny.

的确，原来挖坑的时候，最怕的是下雨。地基被水泡过，就得把上面的一层烂泥清干净了重来。这活儿什么机器都不会做，非得用铁锹。所以总是挖了坑就浇混凝土，一点都不愿耽误。就为这个，雨季做基础算是一忌，费神费力搞不好还费钱。

可在这儿，也许是因为两层的住宅实在是太轻了、多数情况下土质又都挺好？好像随便怎么做都不会出事。经常见到基坑泡了水之后直接就浇基础的。而且他们挖好了坑以后总要凉上个几天，不知是什么道理。要是我，宁可是挖了就浇，浇完就填，心里踏实。

楼主的房子，既是已经浇了混凝土，就没事了。外面那点水还不至于把基础下面的土泡坏－－没有压力，那水且渗不下去呢。

这儿常见的土，就是Qiuyi还有泡泡他们家地底下的那种冰川沉积的，叫个什么till clay的，因为“年轻”，不大怕扰动－－比如叫水泡了被机器压过等等。可是有一种土得小心，就是那臭名昭著的leda clay。那东西，拿出一块放在桌上，挺硬，上面可以压个秤砣。把它放在烧杯里搅和几下，便成了稀泥汤，能倒进试管里面。它也算是渥太华的一种“特产”。开发商不会找那种地方盖房，可要是哪位想买块便宜地，得先打听好了，地下是不是有Leda clay。

Clay可以是很好的地基，也可以是很坏的。可是－－要是谁告诉你说那上头不能盖房子－－哦，说不定你可以去ＢＢＢ投诉，说他不正当竞争

I just checked the Qiuyi's Link, it isn't the Riverside south area. but I think the Richcraft should know what the clay is and how to process it, but I found a stranger thing, the lot is very shallow, it is only 1-1.2 meter, do you know why it is so shallow? I think I should specify that the lot is closed to a very big woodlot(500mx500m), the back yard already touch the woodlot.

I just checked the Qiuyi's Link, it isn't the Riverside south area. but I think the Richcraft should know what the clay is and how to process it, but I found a stranger thing, the lot is very shallow, it is only 1-1.2 meter, do you know why it is so shallow? I think I should specify that the lot is closed to a very big woodlot(500mx500m), the back yard already touch the woodlot.

你是说基础只挖了一米到一米二？要是那样，还得往上填土，最少要填到基础底面以上一米五。

你是说基础只挖了一米到一米二？要是那样，还得往上填土，最少要填到基础底面以上一米五。
