I brought my old US model car here(Canada). I want to ask every nice guy a question about the daytime running light.
Is the daytime running light mandatory for federal inspection? If my car does not have daytime runing lights, can it pass the federal inspeciton?

Yes. You can pass if there isn't other problem.

It is recommended to turn on head light all the time when it is running. And it is mandarotry to have it on half hour after dawn and half hour before sunset. Manually turning it on is OK, but you'd better always turn it on to avoid from ticket in case you forget it.

I see. As you said, it's not necessary to instal daytime light model for passing Federal Inspection. But it is recommended for everyone to avoid tickets . So I can install it later.
