请教关于轮胎胎压的问题。

新车，标明的最大气压是30psi，但是空载时即使加到35psi看起来也有点儿瘪。

加油站的员工说我这个需要打气，一直打到轮胎鼓起来他才说OK，这时气压超过55psi。

厂家说的30psi也许保守了一些，但也不知道误差这么大吧！请问应该打到多少？

30打到35-40就差不多了。打到55太夸张了，当心爆胎。楼主啊，你自己观察观察别人的轮胎。都看上去有点扁的呀！很正常

In your manual, there should be a section detailing what the suggested psi is. Or the easiest way is to check on the inside of your driver’s side of the door where it indicates what the suggested psi should be.

You took great risk to make it 55psi. Please do it as per your tire manual.

The manufactory suggested presure (let's say 32psi) is messure in cool and static status. So it would be ok to make it a few psi more because your tire may be warm when you do it in gas bar. However, the temperature could be much higher when it is running on highway in summer. It could explord on highway if you make it too high in gas bar.

FYI, the tire presure may increase 1psi for every 6 degree temperature increase.

The manufactory suggested presure (let's say 32psi) is messure in cool and static status. So it would be ok to make it a few psi more because your tire may be warm when you do it in gas bar. However, the temperature could be much higher when it is running on highway in summer. It could explord on highway if you make it too high in gas bar.

The standard presure is labeled on the driver side door on most cars. If it says 30 PSI, I would suggest pop it to 38 PSI at most (cooled at least two hours and not driven over 5km).

I would say the stuff at the gas station is NUTS. 55 PSI would be even much more than the max allowed by your tire. Check the side wall of your tire, it says the max load allowed.

从弹性力学角度来讲，只有气压冲到无穷大，才不会瘪。
从实际出发，加油站的气压表差5~20PSI都很正常，有个ESSO我好不容易加到30，用自己的表一量，乖乖不得了，65了。
我的三个气压表，一个Canadian Tire的$6的传统管状表，一个Canadian Tire的$10的数字的，一个是便携气泵上的大圆指针时式表，从来就没有一致过，大小差8~10。

Definitely agree with PrideOfChinese.
You could get a very serious accident because your tires at great risk to explode.
BTW, buy yourself a good tire gauge is a wise investment.
How much for your car? tens thousands dollars right?
How much for a quality tire gauge? $20.
