who are you? at least you should provide information about the company (address, contact information or website) or provide info about your self if you are a paid recruiting agent. An email address in hotmail.com is just too fishy for people to trust. suppose I am going to apply, am I trust you with my personal information? definitely not.

nothing personal against you. just a reminder that personal info is a private property

Strongly support you. I never see any company use hotmail for recruiting. Generally, the truth is that the guy want to apply the position but do not have good CV. So he/she uses such bad way to collect CV.

Why some people want to collect other people's private info? to send junk email and mail?

sometimes if you are not prudent, you provide your date of birth and SIN (in Canada) and SSN (in US). that is enough info for someone to use your identity to apply for credit card or loans or whatsoever and in this way mess up your identity. this is called identity theft.
