请教电池问题

找CAA给查了一下电池，师傅给打印了一张纸条，技术部分看不懂，就写着：battery replacement is highly recommended. 他说40%的机会电池会不行。天冷了也会不行。还说教我买他的电池，138块加安装和测试。不知道这样是不是真的有他说的那么划算。请大家给点意见。谢谢！

I believe you can by a battery in Canadian Tire or Walmart at ~$80. Installation is very easy, it takes you 10-20 minutes only. Usually new battery has been charged (but may not be full) for you startup.

Just a reminder. In order to avoid short circuit, you'd better to install/uninstall the cables one by one. For example, take the red cable (postive pole) off, and wape the cable and positive pole with isolating tape. Then take the black cable (negative pole) off, and wape both the cable and pole with tape. After the new battery is mounted into the car, strip off the tape on black cable, install it on the negative pole. Then strip off the tape on red cable and install it.

Short circuit is terrible because of the strong electrical current.

Charge battery

I recommend to charge your battery. It cost $10 to charge by workshop, but get a charger yourself for $80. Most battery will deplete after 1.5 year
